"TIME FOR PLAN B" by Kevin Simnacher ©2014 SimRocker Music (BMI) Like the tip of an iceberg stuff they didn't teach in school something's coming down the timeline and it ain't the golden rule. It's so hard to predict unless it's frozen in time the only thing that's certain is it's gonna test your mind. Time for plan B take a look, turn around Time for plan B Don't you follow the herd. Time for plan B If it ain't working' out for you Go with plan B 'cause it's time that you should. Fairy tales & fantasies are fine for the masses who stare at glowing boxes as they sit on their glasses. Look at where you're join' take a look at where you've been it's your fault if you're not happy with the state that you're in. Time for plan B take a look, turn around Time for plan B Don't you follow the herd. Time for plan B If it ain't working' out for you Go with plan B 'cause it's time that you should. Unseen things from within our dreams they can happen anywhere Study, pay attention to the simple things you might unlock a treasure that's rare. Time for plan B take a look, turn around Time for plan B Don't you follow the herd. Time for plan B If it ain't working' out for you Go with plan B 'cause it's time that you should.

"Crossing Over" Kevin Simnacher/©2013 SimRocker Publishing (BMI). All rights reserved. A brave young soul who's weary gets cut down in his prime All his friends and family abruptly left behind. Why did this have to happen? This question still refrains They live on with his memory That's the only thing that remains. He crossed over the centerline and he went straight to heaven crossed over the centerline and he never came back. He crossed over the centerline and entered all eternity and he never came back! A wise old soul is weary from the fullness of her days. She knows her time is nearing soon so she cherishes the days. She's ready as she's gonna be through faith of what's to come. She'll miss her friends and family when her Earthly time is done. When you cross over the centerline do you go straight to heaven? Cross over the centerline you will never come back. Cross over the centerline and enter all eternity you will never come back.

"BETTER THAN BEFORE” ©2013 Kevin Simnacher Casting Shadows on the faded past. Prodigal sons and a fattened calf. We’re older now. Wiser now, better than before. Chances taken on a different path leads to fortune, but it may not last. We’re older now. Wiser now, better than before. [Inst. interlude] Some of us left and some of us stayed. Each had a different song they played. We’re older now. Wiser now, better than before. A twist of fate— a common thread— has led us home to mourn our dead. We’re older now. Wiser now, better than before. [Inst. interlude] [solo section] A few old friends from long ago cross paths once more in their hearts they know. They’re older now. Wiser now, better than before. A common bond from a distant past connect once more Hope it’s not their last. We’re older now. Wiser now, better than before.

“UNFINISHED BUSINESS” ©2013 Kevin Simnacher It keeps playin’ in the back of your mind and it makes you lie awake at night— no matter what pill you take you know that something’ just ain’t right. You tell yourself it’s all in the past there’s nothing you can say or do— if ya had a chance to do it over again you might wind up playin’ a fool. Unfinished business Always in the back of your mind It’s that unfinished business it can haunt you for the rest of your time. Drives ya crazy from the inside out and it rots your soul to the core. No matter where you run or hide it festers like an open sore. You make a vow to try & make it right but sometimes it just won’t do— If there’s a next time, make a better choice— if ya don’t, you’ll be sure to lose. Unfinished business Always in the back of your mind It’s that unfinished business it can haunt you for the rest of your time.

“GROUNDHOG DAY” - ©2013 Kevin Simnacher It’s a brand-new day do you feel it comin’? Seems like we’ve been here before— Same ol’ stuff nothing left to say— You’re stuck in a time-loop and it’s Groundhog Day. Feels like you’re always join’ thru the motions just makin’ all the same mistakes. Isn’t it time you got off that treadmill Do you think you have what it takes? There’s a “ripple-effect” on a cosmic lake. You never know the impact for the choices you make. It’s a brand-new day do you feel it comin’? Seems like we’ve been here before— Same ol’ stuff nothing left to say— You’re stuck in a time-loop and it’s Groundhog Day. Do you take the “fast-track” to find time to relax? Do you work long hours just to pay more tax? Are ya playin’ it “safe” ‘cause you’re fully insured? You’re a fast-food junkie, heart attack on the verge… Time to take a different route. Eat a different food. Think a different thought. It could turn out good. It’s a brand-new day do you feel it comin’? Seems like we’ve been here before— Same ol’ stuff nothing left to say— You’re stuck in a time-loop and it’s Groundhog Day. [instrumental bridge] [guitar solo— (same as a regular verse)] Chorus (3X with drum fills in-between): It’s a brand-new day do you feel it comin’? Seems like we’ve been here before— Same ol’ stuff nothing left to say— You’re stuck in a time-loop and it’s Groundhog Day. CHORUS 1st VERSE CHORUS 2nd VERSE CHORUS CHORUSES

Are You In or Out? ©2014 Kevin Simnacher Are you in or are you out? Why does it really matter? You can’t do both so make a choice. You say you will — but then you don’t. You’re goin’ thru the motions You’re taking up valuable space you better stop wasting both our time or just get outta my face. Something seems to be holding you back Your head’s just not in the game We’re really getting nowhere, fast Your commitment is just so lame. Are you in or are you out? Why does it really matter? You can’t do both so make a choice. You say you will — but then you don’t. I just wanna know — where you stand You know that it just isn’t fair You’re lyin’ to me & lyin’ to yourself and it looks like you just don’t care. I’m hanging out here in limbo Rev the motor but you’re still in “park” You can’t decide — you’ve got too much pride so I’m gonna leave you after dark. Are you in or are you out? Why does it really matter? You can’t do both so make a choice. You say you will — but then you don’t. (repeat chorus) (end)

WISH I'D KNOWN BACK THEN Kevin Simnacher©2015 SimRocker Publishing (BMI) All rights reserved. I could've made better choices should've followed my heart There were so many voices holding me back at the start. I wish I'd known back then what I know now It's better late than never I'm finally coming 'round. Wish I'd have taken more risks wish I'd have had more fun... bounced back quicker from setbacks & spent more time in the sun. I wish I'd known back then what I know now It's better late than never I'm finally coming 'round. My vision's getting clearer now as I'm making it past the haze I have less fear to do what's right and I'll choose that for the rest of my days. I wish I'd known back then what I know now It's better late than never I'm finally coming 'round. It's to bad you can't go back... well, just do what you can.

"Alternate Realities" Kevin Simnacher/©2016 SimRocker Publishing (BMI) All rights reserved. Verse 1: You and I, we aren't so different relative to time and space in choosing things that really matter to this human race. Behind the veil of a curtain it's passing in the night. And you can almost see the flicker of a distant light. Chorus: We're living in alternate realities we're like 2 ships that pass in the night. We've both been searching for something we can hold onto before our dreams can slip out of sight. Verse 2: All the while you're living your life and I live mine maybe there will be a day when our paths will intertwine. While we both may share the same space we're never seeing "eye-to-eye". We sense there might be something missing and you're asking why.

PLAY YOUR OWN GAME - ©2017 Kevin Simnacher Verse 1 Every day, every morning turn off the snooze and turn on the news. Wake up your head, drink some coffee you look in the mirror (that’s what you do). You’re getting older and time goes faster. Take a deep breath and let go of the stress. Remember a time when things worked better back in the days when you were your best. Chorus So what’s the big hurry? What you trying’ to prove? There’s no need to worry. You got nothin’ to lose. You’ve got plenty of time so don’t let ‘em push you. There’s no need to hurry. They’ll be gone when you’re through. Verse 2 You play by their rules & they take all your money. You paid up your dues & they give you the screws. They’re making you pay for your own demise. Follow your gut - don’t believe in their lies. Watch what they do - it’s not what they’re saying’. Search for the clues to keep from the blues. Make it a choice to use your own brain. Play your own game. Let you be you. Chorus So what’s the big hurry? What you trying’ to prove? There’s no need to worry. You got nothin’ to lose. You’ve got plenty of time so don’t let ‘em push you. There’s no need to hurry. They’ll be gone when you’re through. Bridge It’s time to play your own game. Not someone else’s. Instrumental ending.
